We never overdid it. As one poster mentioned, there are some concerns over muscle development, so it is not something you will want to put a baby in for hours every day. However, we felt everything in moderation. 15 or 30 minutes a day of baby squealing in enjoyment did not hurt our family at all! Moreover, she learned to walk right on schedule, too.
